SJCBI adopts Phoenix Aralinks Learning Management System for school year 2020-2021

The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted our way of life, including our way of learning and teaching. In response to the challenges posed by the new normal, SJCBI has conducted a survey among parents and other stakeholders to determine what learning modality would they wish to have for their children. After collating and analyzing the results of the survey, the Senior Management Team of SJCBI has decided to adopt the modular learning approach as its preferred mode of delivery of learning and instruction. The survey revealed that parents chose the modular learning method on account of the lack of gadgets and internet access for online learning. As a result of this decision, the teachers have to craft modules to be distributed to the students in the barangays weekly with the assistance of barangay officials. The school has designated Barangay Distance learning coordinators to facilitate the distribution and retrieval of modules. To help the teachers in delivering their lessons, the SMT has also decided to adopt the ARAL Links Learning Management System of Phoenix Publishing House coupled with textbooks for all the SJCBI students. The Aralinks LMS is replete with a wide array of MELCs-aligned digital self-learning modules, interactive lessons, assessments and learning objects.  These can be enriched by the teachers. The digital content is a combination of online-only and downloadable resources to complement other resources teachers will use to ensure accessibility to students.
