‘Project Salinong’ beneficiaries receive relief goods from Alpha Phi Omega AA

Taytay, Baggao, March 4 – Project Salinong beneficiaries received relief goods provided by Alpha Phi Omega AA based in Greater Los Angeles, California. 

When it rains, it pours. Taytay folks enjoying another blessing following the shelter assistance from San Jose Parish and other support programs from Baggao LGU.

Parish priest of Parokia San Jose Mangmangged and SJCBI President Fr. Gerard Ariston Perez turned-over the goods to the beneficiaries and volunteer workers at the Taytay relocation area this morning

Perez received the 15 boxes of assorted goods consisting of clothes, shoes and food items from the Alpha Phi Omega AA of Greater Los Angeles and 6 boxes from the Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals (BCBP) Canada at San Jose Parish last February 27. 

The SJCBI president expressed his gratitude to the US-based group posting on Facebook, “Thank you Alpha Phi Omega AA of Greater Los Angeles for the assorted clothes and food items you sent. Dios ti agngina!” 

Men of Action. Fr. Gerard Ariston Perez and Engr. Junjun Asuncion of the Philippine Army continue to render their service for Project Salinong.

Meanwhile, 4 out of 83 duplex units are already on their final construction phase since construction started last February 16. 

Brighter future. Taytay children have reasons to be hopeful after Typhoon Ulysses.

Amidst the sun’s heat, various organizations, such as Genuine Ilocano (GI) and the Samahang Ilocano (CIAISI Baru a Rupa Baggao Chapter) continue to volunteer their service free of charge in the ongoing work, supervised by the engineering brigade of the Philippine Army and the 77th Infantry Battalion 5th Division Charlie Company.
