Director of Community Engagement and Campus Ministry (CECM) Fr. Christian Dave Remudaro urged Baggao LGU officials and employees to be good stewards in his homily during their First Friday mass devotion at the Baggao LGU Executive Building last March 5, 2021.

“Stewardship essentially means using the gifts given to us by God responsibly…Catholic stewardship also involves receiving the gifts of God with gratitude, cultivating them responsibly, sharing them lovingly in justice with others, standing before the Lord in the spirit of accountability,” Remudaro said.

He reminded the faithful that they are responsible in the ‘vineyard’ of the Lord handed over to their care.
The parochial vicar of San Jose Parish also emphasised their duty over the people they ought to serve, especially ‘the poor, the needy, the oppressed, the underprivileged and the forgotten’.
Remudaro also warned the Baggao LGU people not to forget that they are mere ‘katiwala’.
“We own nothing. [Everything] is freely given to us by God. We must remain oper-hearted enough to surrender what is asked for, when it is asked for,” the Baggao-born priest added.

The holy mass was attended by Mayor Joan Dunuan, members of the Sangguiniang Bayan and other LGU officials and employees.
Afterwards, the CECM Director also blessed the new Covid ward of Baggao District Hospital in Tungel.
