Animated and driven by the philosophy, vision, mission and core values of the Saint Joseph’s College of Baggao, Inc., the Senior High School Department shall endeavor to achieve the following goals:
- To provide an integral formation of the learners through relevant, robust and rigorous curriculum inspired by Gospel values and delivered by a community of professionally qualified, competent and committed school personnel.
- To provide the quality instruction, guidance, and social orientation to produce competent and morally upright graduates who can deliver efficient and effective service to the community and to our country as a whole;
- To craft and implement an interdisciplinary program designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the social control systems of a society, such as the justice system;
- To design and implement a research program on criminology which enables both the faculty and students to analyze data collected in the field and/ or imported from existing data bases and make statistical inferences;
- To promote and nurture the concepts of citizenry, accountability, leadership, camaraderie, discipline and responsibility.
- To share knowledge, discoveries, and inventions with the people of the locality and the country in order to improve appreciation and comprehension of science and to bring the benefits of science to the society.
- To develop ways to enable the faculty to focus their time on being highly productive in their core academic activities (teaching; research; scholarship; creativity and community engagement).
- To encourage professional growth among our faculty, including participation in local, national and international academic forums.
- To engage in ongoing assessment of the curriculum, faculty and students in order to build on our strengths and address our concerns in a meaningful way in an ever-changing world.
