Upon completion of the program, the graduates should be able to:

A1. Demonstrate proficiency in oral and written communication using English as a glocal language in a multilingual context as it applies to the teaching of language and literature;

A2. Exhibit competence in employing innovative language approaches, methodologies, and strategies; and

A3. Acquire extensive reading background in language, literature and allied fields.

2. Application

Upon completion of the program, the graduates should be able to:

B1. Apply philosophical, psychological and sociological principles in teaching and learning situations.

B2. Apply principles of evaluation and research in classroom testing and measurements, as well as principles, methods and techniques and guidance and counselling in classroom situations.

B3. Execute proficiency in oral and written communication.

3. Degree of Independence

Upon completion of the program, the graduates should be able to:    

C1. Work effectively and collaboratively with a substantial degree of independence in multidisciplinary and multi-cultural teams.

C2.Demonstrate care stewardship of creation, participate in the life and mission of the church, and display preferential option for the poor.

C3. Possess broad knowledge of language and literature for effective teaching and learning process.
