Welcome to Saint Joseph’s College of Baggao, Inc. (SJCBI)

Welcome to Saint Joseph’s College of Baggao, Inc. (SJCBI) – The first and only Catholic school in northeastern Philippines under the Tuguegarao Archdiocesan Schools System (TASS), which offers Catholic basic and higher education.

Catholic schools are special in the eyes of the Church. For St. John Paul II, a Catholic school comes “ex corde ecclesiae”, from the very heart of the Church. If the Catholic Church establishes and runs schools, it cannot merely be to graduate outstanding professionals. Rather, Catholic schools are the bearers of the Word of God, proclaimers of the Good News.

REV. FR. GERARD ARISTON P. PEREZ, MA

Hence, we at SCJBI commit ourselves to be true to the aims of Catholic Education which Pope Benedict XVI has eloquently articulated, namely, to provide an environment in which students are enabled to build and deepen their relationship with God, to foster an academic culture aimed at the pursuit of truth and to actively promote growth in virtue.

SJCBI endeavors to produce life-long learners through first-rate instruction, innovative research and responsive community engagement. We provide a safe, wholesome and caring environment to encounter Christ as the very foundation of an integral formation that equips Josephians with globally competitive skills, attitudes and knowledge to prepare them to confidently navigate life’s challenges in our rapidly changing world.

Come, join us in our mission of transforming lives for Christ and His people and shaping the future of this generation and beyond!to the aims of Catholic Education which Pope Benedict XVI
